well i pass tool hire places all the time,or jus get som off someone ya know fa a drink.what's the point in using a couple of quids worth of white and an hour of yer time to go fetch it thou ?
it's not as if he's going to be heating his house 24/7 on it
i can get it delivered, or pick it up when i'm at the yard, as you say they dont use much, a 25 litre tub would last a year i reckon (maybe 25 weeks at approx 200ml for 5 days a week!)
.... and you'll be having the fiddle and expense of fitting a secondary tank just fer the FBH
so a litre a month - you'd be saving less than a tenner a year on red
not so my friend!!! simply a tank off a strimmer/lawnmower or the like or an expansion tank of another car, small, leak and pressure proof and will slot in nicely under the bonnet.
others have used just a normal petrol can!!!
:doh:petrol engine, i did originally buy the petrol webasto but i fried the control board, its 250 quid for a new board so i got a doozel unit and thats worked out cheaper !!!!
aye, but if you get up at the same time each morning you can set the timer and it will auto start.
the remote is purely so i can start the heater at work then go for my shower and come out to a warm car (i can set the timer but if i need to leave early/later than planned it saves me going to the car before showering)
the only bit i need to fathom is to get the blowers on for the windas, this i think will be achieved by using the other channel on the remote and a few relays to cut the car side off and turn the blowers on via the heater's control wires.
after all it only need 10 mins at most to clear the screen, i can do that before my shower!!!
its a good bit of kit!!!
Sounds great, come out to a warm car and a flat battery LOL:doh:
