Exhaust manifold gasket replacement- major cock-up!

Hi all.
Seeing as how i'm totally skint at the mo, i decided to replace my manifold gasket myself, as it was totally shot (how hard can it be?:doh. Anyway, it was all going well until i came to reassemble everything- basically i had 'thread issues' two bolts wouldn't go back in for some reason, one bolt stripped the thread on the engine side, and whilst trying to clear the thread for another, i got one bolt totally stuck in a hole.
Any idea how i can remedy this? Feel like a total tw@, and swearing at it isn't helping.

Ok, i've retrieved the stuck stud. Now i need to think about how to re-thread the cylinder head, before i can reassemble. Any ideas?

Heli-coil kit. Loads of sizes and thread pitches on flea-bay.
