1996 4.6 gems ecu err6645 is the one i need, brand new they are nearly 15000 .i have done security relearn ,have check light,still no start,thanks,will try ebay.

My thoughts too. Could be a connection somewhere? The ECUs are pretty bullet-proof.
Not played with the GEMS much but you should be able to read the engine security code from the engine module and then compare it to the value stored in the BECM module.
