Hi,
reading the various posts got me thinking. I recently exported my Series 3 FFR 109 out of the country. Simply loaded it onto a trailer, blanked off the number plates with blue masking tape, hooked up the trailer to my foreign registered van and drove through Dover straight onto a ferry. Didn't get pulled over once, asked any questions at the port or receive any inquisitive looks. I had the V5C in my name and all documents including purchase invoice so wouldn't have had any problems anyway. Just got me thinking, if I was a thief, I could easily do the same with a stolen landy.
