Hi,

Does one has the EAS USB driver?

I have the cable, the software EAS Suite but can't get it to work.

I used that kind of cable for years and do not know why my laptop decided to fail.

Used another laptop, always the same problem of driver.

Are you using a serial to USB adaptor. If so you need the driver for the adaptor i think. Or try changing the port, you do of course have netframework installed. EASunlock won't work without it.
 
Installed a bunch of USB serial converter drivers and it looks like to work. I got the number of the COM port and windows seems happy.

I think it's the PL-2023 Vista driver installer that made the difference.

OK that is possibly why even with the driver, i have never been able to get my USB only ACER to work with EASunlock. Not that i tried hard, i have a steam driven serial only DELL that works first time every time. :):)
 
ME TOO WAMMY 7 YRS NOW !!!!!! I DONT NO HOW I EVER FOUND THE TIME TO GO TO WORK ?????????? MORE BUSY NOW THAN EVER > IVE STILL GOT MY E.A.S. KIT I BOUGHT OFF DATA ITS IN THE BOX ? STILL NOT USED IT YET ,,BUT MAY TRY SOON YOU KNOW WHAT IM LIKE WIV COMPUTERS !!!!!!! IS IT JUST PLUG N PLAY ?????????????? HOPE YOR WELL !!! :crazy_driver:MOZZ

Print off and read the instructions. It's pretty simple once you get into it. If you play with height settings NEVER change anything without recording what was there first. Then you can go back if needed.

cheerrs matey will give it a try ..what should the height settings be ???????? I take it that all four corners should be the same ????????????

Read the airbag replacement guide on the CD or look in the How to section, all the measurements are in there. Don't adjust by more than a few points at a time between checks or the EAS may throw a wobbly:eek:
