Hi driving up the M1 this morning and got to junction 38 when EAS FAULT CAME UP ON DASH DISPLAY.
The up down suspention switch started flashing all its 4 positions then all the 4 position lights on the switch stayed on.
the off road high lift position light came on on the display.
The car is stuck in its top position and will not move up or down and is showing the EAS FAULT STILL.

ANY ADVISE PLEASE ON HOW TO FIX THIS
THANKS EWAN:confused:

had the same fault when i overloaded mine at the back, havnt bothered getting it fixed yet, too busy fixing other faults but dont worry the suspension will still go to the last position used when switched off so you can still use it.

ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT IT MAY NEED TO FIX IT?
:)

clutchdust said it was likely i had a knackered height sensor but i reckon puttin 22 slabs in the boot wasnt such a good idea and is probably the reason it logged a fault.

You need to get it into a GOOD local LR specialist (NOT a main dealer!) with Testbook who can run it up in live mode and see what is going on. Even if you fix the fault yourself, the system will still need to be reset using Testbook, so you might as well get them to do the diagnosis and fix at the same time unless you've got a few grand lying around to buy the system yourself, that's your only option!

You may find that simply resetting it (on Testbook) works for a few months - as mentioned earlier, it is probably a height sensor going bad.

Matt
