Hi guys.
Just purchased a 2008 rr tdv8 with 100k on from Bonney Scotland.
Sold as seen from an auction so no test drive etc, battery as flat as a pancake, jumped it and after 5 mins the A light with an arrow around it has come on, quick roadside search says DSC, it drives fine, but I can’t turn the dsc off, I don’t want to to the engine off as the battery is no good and got a new one 200 miles away at home to put on, so is this ok to drive with it on ?
Thx.

No idea really. "Dynamic Stability Control" is for trying to counteract harsh driving affecting the vehicles attitude and balance isn't it? Clearly, your is "broken"?
If you don't cane it and drive smoothly, DSC isn't going to try and kick in anyway so whether its broken or not is a moot point I would have said.
Good Luck, hope you get home safely.

Not sure that your DSC is 'broken'. The L322 is battery greedy. They love and demand a full battery with no faults. Standing with a flat battery will have put her into a hissy fit. You are lucky only DSC is coming up.

If you offer cake for the gurus they will come , with good advice. @Saint.V8 , @holidaychicken

Light On means DSC is Off.....

You can drive it, but you won't have traction or stability control, so no bombing into corners or harsh acceleration or the Laws of Physics will spank you hard.

Low battery is the chief culprit on this - get a decent battery on it and go from there.

You bought a TDV8 'as seen' & without a test drive o_O
Would you like to share the following with me?
