Hi all

I'm an owner of a freelander 2.5 v6 and love her to bits . Yes I know typical woman naming her car lol. Well when I bought her she had been seriously neglected and I'm trying to get her like new. I've had a new CAT fitted and since having it fitted she has been making a weird grating noise . I'm tempted to take her back to the garage to have them check if something has come loose as it's the CAT that comes from the manifold . Do you think I'm right in taking her back or just an over worried owner ??

Yes take it back, it's probably just rubbing on something.

Oh, and don't worry my cars got a name and so has the wife's.

Thanks , love my little beast ! She wasn't doing it at first when I had her done 2 weeks ago . I also have no intention of getting rid of her as she has had loads spent on her and isn't too bad on fuel tbh
