Hi Guys,
After some advice, got a 1995 v8 disco, just for some off road fun, ive fitted some 2" lift springs allround, and some 235/85/16 insa saharas on white weller wheels,
went out the other day for a giggle and done some non aggressive hill climbs etc and the rear tyres are rubbing on the wheel arches and cutting the tyres fairly bad!!!! would putting uprated shock improve this, as i have left the standard ones on???

Terry....

Done that prior to going out, there seems to be some metal just tucked up inside the arch(approx 1/2) that there catching on??
terry

dampers won't stop axle articulation, one of the disco boys may have an idea.
I wonder if you have cut the arch whether offset on rim is a possible issue

where on the tyre is it rubbing exactly, if its rubbing on something just cut it off, even with standard sized tyres mine are very close to rubbing on articulation and ive cut half my arches out.

also your shocks will probs be nackered soon if you dont get 2 inch extended ones
