Hi yes still looking it had a few quotes, the difference in the quotes being to what level of prep am i needing.

There's loads of different cost depending on the level of respray, ranging from just a see panel spray with rub down and fils for around 800 to 1200, then a full strop and spray inside door pillars etc with a full rub down fill etc 1500 to 2500, it depends how good they are seriously, my mate paid 1000 for a right pile of crap, but guy said he was learning so will do it at a trial price,,,

the lad in bolton is called mike and he ownes a company called pro paint is number is 07779800047 , give him a call nice chap

You thought about getting it film coated, lots of colours and designs, any part gets damaged, easy to repair.

I did and went to see a company in Leeds, but to be honest wasn't that impressed for 1500, it looks kinda dull, guess I'm just old fasshioned.
Thanks for the suggestion

Will it be worth it, probably not, but is anything we do to these motors, it's an addiction, but in the mind of the owner every penny spent is worth it, or why would we do it,

That's why I do my own, good results without the cost. Might be worth looking at bud.

I've been giving it a lot of thought matey really have

It really is worth considering mate, I have had quite a few people ask for advice about painting at home, and usually come back saying they had great results and don't know what they was worried about.
It can be daunting, but it's easier than you may think, most of it is in the prepwork.

Thanks for the heads up I'll give it some more serious thought, like you say it's a little daunting
