Hi I just finished my d1 99 on portal axles from a c306 from a volvo I took me 3 years to build and it was quite a challenge to say the least.
I can drive it on the road at 100ks at 2800 rpm no problem. I have modified the TC with a 1:1 ratio from Ashcroft to be able to drive at that speed.
Have 37s witch help with the top speed. I have 7:14 gears with RCV axles and gears. Front hydraulic winch from Red winch and rear one from Superwinch
Talon series prorock 80

BTW, Do you want to edit your post and press return between the photos so they aren't all on the same horizontal row - makes the page as wide as your new axles! ;):D:D

Hi D99, WOW! That's a serious truck.

Have you got more pics and is there any chance you could write a build article explaining all the techy details. I reckon it would be fascinating.

It would also be interesting to know how much it cost, if you are prepared to share that with us?

Cheers
Dave

Don't know what all that means but sounds and looks good....lol

I'll post my pics on photobucket tomorrow and post it here. I will go into it a bit then.

Here is the last upgrades
Complete new set up with regards to the front and rear arms and the big one was with the angle of the diff was tilted towards the TC for less angles to take all the vibrations out and ease the stress on the driveshaft and TC bearing. Notice the spacer on the end of the flanges that were added to rotate the diff upwards.
