I have an issue with the fuel sender on my 90. The gauge reads much higher than the correct fuel level. In fact it runs the tank dry before the fuel light can even come on.
I have taken the fuel pump out and it has the Discovery pump part number WFX000280 and the float arm is quite obviously also for the discovery td5 judging by the pictures I can see on google.
The pump itself is a VDO unit and works very well but it is not possible to buy the float arm separately. Does anyone on the forum have a broken pump lying around with the correct arm that I could buy; or is anyone able to let me know the dimensions so I can either adjust the one I have or make a more suitable one from wire?
