clutch pedal problem

You know how it is foot slipped off the clutch pedal and now it comes up too high and then when you depress the clutch it goes to the floor ,clutch does work when i can engage the plunger
after investigation there seems to be a plunger system behind clutch pedal but it will not hold in and just springs back out again
any suggestions please

check ta see if the c clip has come orft, this is fitted by the slave cylinder and is a plastic clip in a c shape ,on yer model the slave un master are sealed fer life [this means yer have to buy new units as they are not repairable] however you can still bleed the system. . . .un best oh luck. . . .
