A new problem, after driving for a little while clutch feels "spongy", and its less smooth to disengage. Noticed especially when i tried to pull off up a hill and i couldn't without a fair bit of throttle. This seems to get progressively worse as the car warms up.

Gears seem to be going in ok although I did notice at one point had a little trouble engaging reverse.

I havent noticed any leaks from the master or slave but those would be my first culprits i guess? They had both been replaced about three years ago for trw units

Disco2 clutches are notoriously difficult to bleed, I would start there before replacing anything. The only way I found to do it reliably is to raise the front of the car on ramps or stands then force fluid in from the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder hopeing it pushes air up and out the top. Spent ages with power bleeder trying to do it the conventional way and never got it perfect.

I changed it a few years ago, i would guess if it was not bled properly i would have had issues before? I usually bleed them quite quickly by reverse bleeding them using the brakes (connect nipple from caliper to nipple on slave and pump the brake or run the bleed function on nanocom
