Hi all had my freebie TD4 for few weeks now and love it, would like to hear your views on getting it chipped? Not sure about it as it is still under warranty, your experiences and views would be great, also any pics of your cb installs too.

As regards the rover ron synergy 2, i have looked at the info and am considering getting one. How easy is it to fit this?

Very easy to fit.

The hardest part is removing the air filter cover. I purchased a flexi extension for the socket set (i'm sure there is a better name for it) to undo the three cap head screws at the back of the air box. Then to fit the Synergy 2 you just plug a two connectors into the car, put the air filter cover back on and you are good to go. Bit more of a problem if you are fitting the remote switch (which is an optional extra). It seems very difficult to get a wire from the engine bay into the passenger compartment.

But technically it is a very easy fit. Go onto the Rover Ron website (do a searcg on google forRoverRon). There is lots of information on there
