Hmmmm, all did not go well I'm afraid :(
Jacked rear of car and removed the offside spring and refitted no problem apart from the spring being a bit stubborn about leaving it's home since 1997 :) moved to the nearside and :mad: all the LPG pipework and wiring were fitted between the body and chassis right where you require access to remove the spring and pipe, anyway eventually I managed to get it done only to discover a leak there when I pressurised the system, I'd managed to bend one of the grippers on the air pipe so had to do that side again.
By this time the football was about to start so decided to leave the front untill today which should be easier :D

I am following this with interest as I think I need to replace at least one. When you get to the fronts I'll start taking notes :)

look on Range Rovers they do a sort of walk through of the procedures I followed what they said and did one front and one back in about 2 hrs so its not that bad the only thing to is make sure you have extra clips to hold the wheel arch liner in place

don't even have to take off the rear wheel liners or the wheels, would have been easy except for the LPG bits

sorry forgot to update  both front ones changed in just over an hour, very easy job with liner removed :):)

told ya it was a doddle did`nt i :) :) :) and with all the brass you saved with not having to pay someone else you can go and have a few beers foc :D :D :D .

Cheers Mate, Gonna get a few Strongbows down tonight :D:D before I run out of funds :D
Unfortunately still got the problem of the compressor almost continually running, convinced I have solved all the leaks and suspension doesn't drop overnight. Main prob seems to be that the front is very slow to rise (drops like a stone) so I think I'll have to invest in a controller (ANR3900), ah well what's another £160

hello again mate i had the same problem with mine a couple of months ago, i overhauled the compressor which improved things a little but it still seemed to be running more than it should , in the end i bought a new compressor and that sorted it right away.

That also was the first thing I did, I replaced the piston and liner. I'm not sure about changing the compressor as when you drop the body to it's lowest setting and then select normal ride height the back rises within seconds indicating to me that the pump is working ok, but the front can sit there for several minutes and then suddenly rise but the pump continues to run, should also say that the previous owner had the valve block switches replaced.
