Central Locking Issues

Only just got this pile of problems.
2008 rrv
The key will start the car but somehow I’ve managed to lose my central locking ??
Put a new battery on today and now no central locking.
I’ve tried programming the key like you can do on the 2006 model key but this type of key doesn’t seem to do this.
Any ideas ?

Hi there, if you have had the battery out there may be systems to re-set themselves. Also if you had a jump start before the new battery. My 2006 RRV needed to have the battery disconnected overnight then reconnected in the morning for several days before normal service was resumed. Make sure you follow the disconnect rules that should be on a sticker in the engine bay. Hope it gets sorted soon.

I’ve disconnected the red terminal and will leave it off over night, no idea if it does anything lol
