Hi all I'm a newbie here, I bought my 2007 range rover sport 3.6 tdv8 back in April, currently the car is sitting and cranks but will not start, the drivers air inlet manifold cracked and me and my dad removed it and i have a friend who plastic welded it professionally using the same plastic, it's all been fitted back in the car was sitting without the battery for a month or so and now it's back together it wont start, the car cranks very strongly but wont start completely, the keyfob locks and unlocks the doors etc..., although when I put the keys in and turn the ignition hazards come on and the dials go up then die, this stops if I turn the ignition on and off a few times, the battery was brand new in June (when both turbos and ace system failed)

Thanks in advance chaps

Scott

The car is not seeing enough power if dashlights are coming on, a bad connection, wire off somewhere? Damp ingress, immobiliser playing up

Yes @gold rover is one of our female Landyzone members hence when you asked for help from chaps..need I go on?
Ahh that makes sense, as I said this was my first post I'm new here was looking for some advice after having nothing but bother with my car since purchase Haha spent 8 grand on it since April and was wanting to avoid spending more, I apologise to you @gold rover the words mate and chap is in my dialy vocabulary (24 years old) and generally when I use it in conversation it isn't gender specific

First off welcome to green oval ownership. You have learned the hard way they are a money pit.
Second I have used mate for decades, it is not gender specific. Chaps most definitely is. A bit like ladies, unless taking the mick out of chaps I know ;)
That out of the way , have you checked your engine earths. You may have dislodged one when doing repairs. Or one may just have frayed.
