Caliper part number?

Can anyone help with part numbers please?

Both my rear near side and front off side callipers have seized on my 1996 300tdi Defender 110. The calipers on Paddocks website don't specify which vehicles they fit. Anyone have any knowledge please?

up to VIN 930434, RH = RTC5572, LH = RTC5573

from VIN LA930435, RH = STC1266, LH = STC1267

I forgot to say my vin is TA986666. I understand Paddocks sell AP Lockheed calipers.

So how does it work, are the left side calipers all the same, and right side all the same, regardless of whether front or rear? If so then as you say I need one of these..

rear calipers for a 300 tdi 110 are stc1268 rh and stc1269 lh you need to do both on an axle,fronts depends on whether vented or solid discs

So it sounds like I need to replace all my callipers then?

I had some of the discs replaced a few years ago, not sure if I had vented fitted or not. I'll ask the mechanic to take a look as its in the garage at the moment. Am I right in thinking the rears are vented as standard?

rears are solid ,its the only choice discs are ftc3846 only fitted to 110 rear and pads stc1610pc pc means you get new pin kit
fronts can be either solid or vented stc1267 and stc1266 for vented stc1263 and stc1262 for solid

You've just jogged my memory. I remember I bought new vented discs for front and rear but they obviously wouldn't fit the rear so just the fronts were fitted. So I've got solid rear discs and vented front discs. So I need a new pair of callipers for both front and rear....

Front calipers - STC1266 & STC127 (for vented discs) £72ea
Rear calipers - STC1268 & STC1269 (for solid discs) £79.54 ea

Total £303.08

Paddocks have the rears as AP Lockheed but the fronts seem to be Britpart!!!!!

Rebuild what you've got with lovely stainless steel pistons. £44 ish for both front callipers. Easy to do if you're fairly competent.
