Disco 2 Busy weekend with new Disco

So this weekend I did the following jobs on my new discovery..


Drained and re-filled both front & rear diffs
Drained and refilled transfer box
Changed engine oil & both filters
changed air filter
Fixed a leaking front camshaft seal
changed the fuel filter
fixed the leaking coolant hose cap on the oil cooler
de-greased and jet washed the engine

Found out that the rocker cover gasket is leaking.. order a new one
Ordered front & rear brake pads
Ordered an EGR removal kit
Ordered new Alternator belt

satisfactory weekend's work :)

But you missed the gearbox oil. LOL.

Next thing is do you have 2 keys and the EKA code? definitely a must have .

EKA emergency key access code. Abfour digit number you key into the lock if your fobs or the rf receiver fail. You can get it from a landy dealer with proof of ownership. Pr a nanocom can read it directly.

Dunno about oil burners, my V8 has far more bends and twists and that doesn't squeak :) :)
