It's the friction on the bodywork caused by the air at high speed, Concorde had the same problem

I don't see the problem as you have no need to Do 95mph
That'll be the hole in your pocket burning a wider hole.
To be honest, my Disco 2 TD5 doesn't mind doing 70mph, will do 80mph with a bit of "feedback" and certainly doesn't want me doing anything much more, especially for any distance.
From memory, 95mph is pretty near the top speed for one of these girls. No real wonder things are beginning to smell a bit. Did you not hear Scotty sat in the back saying "She'll never take it Captain"?

Snigger my 90 will be one of the fastest,0-60mph 8 seconds and a diff later-top speed 130mph +

Parrently ****part are supplying pattern heat shield tiles. As fixed to the nosecone and body of the US Space shuttles. Sinply glue these to ya disco and the problem will be solved.. Until they fail and fly off thru ya windscreen..

I stopped at 85 after realising my fuel needle was moving faster than my speedo and my disco didn't like driving at stupid speeds, it now rarely goes over 70 unless I'm going downhill and its dry
