Well, i MOT'd te discovery last wek and it failed one the front shockers so i bought some Britpart Cellular Dynamic 6000 Shockers and they came, fast too.

The bit i dont get is, in the pack there are 4 rubber bushs, 4 larger circular disc plates, 4 smaller disc plates, a small 1" rod, 2 nuts. Where do i put all of these bushes / discs etc and what order as i have heard peeople fitting them wrong and rolling their disco.

Its a 300tdi and there are no instructions and i cant find nything on the net.

Cheer in advance, hoping to do this in the morning.

each shocker has 2 bushes at the top either side of the mounting bracket with washers above and below each bush and repeated at the bottom then the nut goes on

Due to the age of the vehicles if the shocks have not been changed in a while it would be better to soak all the fasteners with loose oil (WD40) first.
They can be very stuborn
Fitment of the new bushes is exactly as the old are removed.:)

yep your gonna need a big tin of penetrating oil

also if ya can get hold of the steel ring with the bolts in it that holds the turret down as you are just about garanteed to shear some of these bolts also check what condition the turrets are in cos they rot fast my be worth just replacing them at the same time depending on how bad they are and if u can rescue um with wire brush / tin o paint

I had big fun doin my front shocks and managed to recite the entire dictonary of bad words woops
