Brake Fluid

Can someone tell me how much brake fluid my Freelander needs. The manual says that it’s Dot4 but not how much I need. I’m planning to fit new brakes and do a full bleed. I own a 53 plate FL1 pre-facelift Td4.

I normally buy my brake fluid in 4L bottles, it is wayyyy to much but much cheaper than getting 1L bottles then running out halfway through, you never know how much dirt or air is in there so I would honestly recommend just getting too much then being able to use it again in the future, store it in a dry place.

I would hazard a guess that the whole system holds about a litre so if you wanted to put
1.5 - 2 litres through it you should be ok.
