I've found some problems with my various HEVAC related servo motors. One of the recirculation ones has a cog with stripped teeth and possibly both the temperature blend motors and the single distribution motor have failed potentiometers. I have the full dash out right now as doing a dash replacement (alongside a full respray and new leather interior) and because I'll have to wait a few weeks for the parts I need I've decided to go ahead with reassembly. What I've done is cannibalised the cog from one of the blend motors to repair the recirculation motor on the assumption that getting to that would even more of a pain once the dash is back in than it will be to get to the blends. The idea is to just lock all the other flaps to give cold air through the fascia vents until such time as I get new motors/parts.
Now the distribution motor is easy enough to figure out. It operates the grey segmented pinion at the top of the first picture below. This video actually shows it in motion.

However the temperature blend motors operate two black levers; in the first picture its the dog-leggy thing lying on top of the blue bit, its more obvious in the second one. What I don't know is which position here is hot and which is cold?
Unfortunately at the moment the battery is disconnected so I can't actually run the hevac so if someone has the answer it would be a huge help!
Cheers fellas!
