Biggest wheel size?

Does anyone know what the biggest wheel and tyre size is that will fit onto a 2001 freelander without the need for arch work? Will 18's go straight on and if so with what tyre size?

you can fit jcb rears with minimum work.

if yours got the 16 size alloys then 18s will fit but not sure but all the ones i seen er low profiles, but check wiv lr afore yer go un get some. . . .

Seem to remember problems with standard alloys between 2001/2002 models. LR upsized the brakes on the newer models and think it still follows on to the newest 2004/05 hippos.

Plenty of 18" wheels around, depends on hub dimensions of the after market brand.

Dont forget larger wheels give you slower acceleration but higher top end speed, not that you'll be going over 70mph of course.

unless yu go lo profile - not too good offroad wiv lo-pros on. try and keep the same rolling road dia to keep speedo accurate.
