Hi all, I have a 2002 Disco 2 that I want to sell, good clean condition, 75k miles, set up for off-road. Does anyone have an recommendations as to where best to advertise it? Obvious places like Autotrader, but didn't know if there was a better place...
Grateful for any advice!
If anyone is interested in the vehicle, please let me know.
Thanks

It would sell better with an mot, are you getting it done or not. it does look very presentable. :)
Assuming springs on the rear. Whats the chassis look like has it been welded.
Lights on dash ???
Leaks
Saggy heading
Injection loom free of oil.

Bla bla........

How much you wanting for it.

Thanks, yes getting an MOT next week. Springs on rear. Chassis is pretty sound, been waxoiled, no warning lights, starts and drives perfect, no leaks, brand new headlining as old one was saggy. Don't know about injection loom oil - how do I tell that?
Not sure on value. There's not any on autotrader with that low mileage. £6k maybe? don't know. It's had a bit of work since that picture - rock sliders treated and painted, new A pillar covers etc. And you can see some bits hanging down inside as I was in the process of changing the headlining

What parts and make of parts have you fitted ?
Any mechanical parts have been genuine Land Rover pretty much. It has had quite a few parts over the last few years - new fan belt, CV joint gaiters, poly bushes, a new remote locking module, starter motor, new battery etc. And then the external bits - rock sliders, Safari snorkel, FirstFour off-road front bumper, Cooper mud terrains etc. Then a new fibreglass headlining covered in cream fabric to match the original

Bumper does look smart.
Sorry but I meant the modified parts, lift kit, propshafts, caster correct arms etc, CDL diff lockers etc.

The springs and shocks are terrafirma, 2 inch lift. Shire Fabrication rock sliders. Saudi front grille. K&N air filter. Doesn't have diff lockers.
In general I don't like jacked up D2s but yours looks quite smart and in decent condition. As for selling, Ebay or similar I guess, or if you are on FB maybe some 4x4 groups. Or join in on here, get you post count up until you are entitled to post an advert.
I have no idea about price I am afraid but in my mind it's more like half the price you suggest but then again I'm tight!
