Please forgive me if this has already been covered but I'm new on here so here goes. After going through my mid-life crisis when i sold my classic vogue and bought a Subaru ( never let me down once in 18 months although I did gain a few points and came very close to a divorce ) I bought a 4.6 HSE a few weeks ago. Problems started soon after with the alarm going off for no reason, refusing to start, key fob not working but would start with the EKA and now finally engine disabled showing. If the battery is disconnected then reconnected it shows key code lockout and after waiting for this to go off it won't accept the EKA. All the doors appart from the drivers are superlocked.
When the doors superlocked it was connected to an autologic at my local independant specialists and it seemed as if the BeCM was reprogramming itself at random. I have obtained a second hand BeCM and have been reading up on them online and was wondering if someone could confirm that if i get them both unlocked it would be possible to reprogramme the "new" one using autologic to suit the car having read the info from the old one. Any help appreciated

alright fella. i'm new to all this too. i've just had a new becm fitted to my p38. it's a very complicated procedure (so the garage told me). you can't unlock old becm's you need a new one. then you need the correct codes from land rover. let me now how you get on.

Having the same problem myself. some kind gent has just informed me it can be unlocked by a company called callrova.com google it and read for yourself. Prices look pretty good too. :D
