This district council have put forward to the local community to work along side the NFU and police to target prevention of theft of land rovers.:):)

They have made reference to defenders pre 2004 and are offering anti theft advice...

I have contacted them and will be e-mailing them suitable links to stolen land rover threads.

I also have offered them the info that Ryder provides web based tracking.:)

i will keep up with community news and post here .

AVDC are my local council - I'm not far from Aylesbury either.

Although I've got an '05, I'd still be interested in the advice (everything helps).

I've just done a quick search on their website and nowt there yet. Am I a bit early ?

found the article in the community news letter with a phone number to call for information etc about security and local crime.......so i phoned up and had a long chat with the man at the council who was interested in what other landy owners are doing etc. pm if you want it.
 
BoB can i have a PM too? Might be worth forwarding to Luton CC however they have so far been very anti 4x4 and ignored all my and others mails regarding RoW and other subjects but its worth a punt!

Wahey, I live close in Ivinghoe area, but will be moving to the Wing area in a couple of weeks! What a small world!

Didn't know about this.... might take a look at that club.

In the meantime, I created my own (so the nice lady at Adrian Flux would give me a few more quid off my insurance) :D
