The freelander is a proper landrover! the feckin cheek of it. It will prove its a proper landy by failing its MOT shortly.
Yes I would like a 110.
Its not my pride, its that my freelander is such a good vehicle.

in the general theme of getting landies ready for winter, ive had my butler program my mobile communication device with various numbers for p38 breakers, he's swapped the hamper for blankets, in the family colours of course, and he's put on a few punds so he doesn't collapse/need food when he has to convey me to safety!

i'll get him to put on a few extra layers to in case i need to strip him to keep warm!!!

Why bother, it won't start anyway, and you'll have to stay at home:D:D

hahaha right, at least you said it! once you get yer defender you will realise, and slate gaylander like the rest of us.

a freelander, its kinda like the "lite" range for landys

and yea a freelander is an ok vehicle, just not on par with the defender:D

gwon, yet yerself one, you wont regret it (in the first few weeks)

I've driven loads of defenders so I know what they are like. I won't slate freelanders because I know how good they can be if looked after. The freelander suits my needs at present and is a damn good landrover.
I like the iconic image of the defender, it looks like what a landrover should look like.

yu mean a Series?

te be fair up till 1998 the defender was just an evolved series II, even with te engine. in 98 with the td5 and the newish half acceptable interior things changed, and the puma has really finished it with a bonnet bulge and no flaps.

but yea, i would say a pre 98 defender still got the iconic landy shape

i'll have the same things in me series that i have all the time, bath towel to sit on when i'm soaking wet:eek: tea towel for mopping up the drips:rolleyes:, couple of spanners, spare oil and water, starter handle:D jack and block of wood, tow strap and me mobley to call for help
