Try 60-80rpm.

I never touch the pedal on starting, and the good news is the new battery and glow plugs have done the trick, its back to starting like it did in the summer within the first turn of the engine.

This certainly makes mine start better.

Didn't need to do that in the past, though, so still going to investigate the plugs.

Difflock :: View topic - 300 auto staring problem.
Just came across this re starting rpm -- see 7th post down
