You should always put it into neutral when waiting at lights....not only is it in the handbook in bold print....but also there is a thing with the L322 torque convertor - don't ask me the technical side of things but I am sure it is something to do with there is no pressure relief valve or constant flow or something that means the Torque convertor is always fighting with itself hence the vibration - hopefully James Martin may pop in as he was the one that mentioned it IIRC....Hi, I recently bought a second hand diesel l322 vogue which has been fitted with 20" 7 spokes on 255/50/r20 tyres. I have noticed this vibration and am constantly putting it into neutral when sat at lights.
Is this vibration dangerous for its health or just an annoyance as I would rather not have to revert back to 18" wheels.
Always Neutral - not just the Diesels but my petrol vibrates lightly when just held on the brakes for longer than 20-30 seconds....
