Hi to all, my name is dean and I've just joined the forum, because I swopped my 97 plate BMW 523i with no mot and a months road tax, for a 2001 1.8 freelander, with a months tax and 10 months mot, and unfortunately a engine knock that turned out to be a big end bearing, in which I replaced, last weekend but the knock is still there due to the crank been out of round, so I have decided to bite the bullet and fit another engine which I have sourced from a local breaker for £200.00, after doing a lot of searching on ebay and other breakers and getting some stupid prices back, so I will be fitting the engine this weekend, so here's to hopefully making some new friends, and getting and giving some advice, and just having a general chit chat.
