Having spent days rubbing just the front wings down and getting down to as much shiny metal as I can, I am now wondering...... the tiny pits in the ali that you can't get right to the bottom of, how long will it take for them to come through the new paint? If at all!
I know steel panels come through quickly.
Whatever happened to the theory that aluminium created an impervious oxide layer?
I'm thinking standard area of aluminium panels, not affected by steel pieces.
