The airco on our 2009 L322 isn’t working, there is air coming out but no cold air, what are the things I need to check?

Is there any gas in the system, does the pump engage? Have you checked fuses and relays?
Some more info would be a good start, what have you checked already?

Hi Timo,

I had the same problem last week with mt L322 , 2012, 4.4 TDV8 aircon blowing warm air. Went to the service centre - the loaded the aircon system with gas. During process they evacuate the old gas and check the system for leaks then recharge the system with fresh gas. Initially the overloaded the system with too much gas and it still blew warm. Make sure they add only the correct volume depending on whether your system is 2 or 4 zone.

It's not expensive and takes about 30 minutes.

Normally the system is emptied as said, and checked under vacuum. Alternatively it's part charged with a dye and inspected. It's a waste to fully charge a system without diagnosing it properly. There are plenty of places that'll charge the system no questions asked.. It's inexpensive yes until you back a week later and do it all again.
A proper check isn't cheap but will find any real issues. Cheap isn't always best.

I haven’t checked fuses, I can’t find which one I need to check, and how I can check if there is gas in the system

Usual cause is a leaking condenser. Debris collects between the condenser and radiator and the condenser corrodes.
Take it to a garage and get it checked for gas pressure. If no pressure it needs a leak test as others have said. Odds on there will be little or no gas and it will need a new condenser.

You'll need someone with the proper gauges to check what's in the system, if it's too low (leaking) or too high (not filled properly) then the system will disable itself to prevent damage. Can't help with fuses sorry but should be in rave and the owners handbook if you have one
