Air con recharge

What's the going rate to recharge or refill your air con system?

It's the time of year I suppose so I phoned around. Anything from £70 upwards and some I phoned insisted on a clean of the system for only £+ extra.

Then a mate of mine told me to phone one of the local industrial and commercial refrigeration suppliers/maintainers.

£40 and that included purging the system and a refill. Don't expect an invoice though...............

Just thought I'd share..............

I had one of my runabouts recharged last week normally £55 but as he lived local so did the job on his way home £40, only took 30mins.
Discos will be more as it takes more refrigerant, the new Merc S type it will be £360 if it's using the new spec of refrigerant, he said.
My a/c is still putting out 7c from the vents never had any issues.

I have my discovery 2 refilled at. £45 last year

Philip had his refilled before the Holland/France trip for £40 plus VAT locally.
