300tdi sediment seal and lift pump advice.

hi.

have a few quick questions.

1) where can you buy the rubber seals for the sediment trap?

2) what is a decent lift pump replacement? i assume genuine is silly price so not ideal. cheap ones are just going to cause problems. any mid range but decent brands?

i have limited knowledge of landys but already know britpart is as good as a chocolate fire guard so refuse to buy any of their products.

3) has anyone fitted an electric (solid state) fuel pump to replace the lift pump? does this give better reliability? and any better for power?

I use Facet fuel pumps in my track & performance cars very reliable if you don't trust the old mechanical lift pumps, you could just keep a spare as they are cheap.

This is my replacement of choice including olives and nuts...
