2010 range rover suspension fault

Hi all, so I'm four weeks in to my ownership of my first range rover (a 2010 vogue tdv8) and whilst driving today I had a "suspension fault" pop up along with a "max speed 30mph" warning.
I pulled over and the car had set itself to the lowest suspension setting and the ride height selector had no lights on it all.
I restarted the car and it asked me to select ride height, I did and it reset fine and the selector lights were back on.
It did this two more times while on country roads but for the final twenty miles on A roads it was fine.
I know that two ball joints need replacing on the front driver's side suspension but as it's not is due in three weeks I thought I would leave them until then, there was a slight "roughness" felt through the brake pedal when I pulled over to reset the suspension. Could faulty ball joints cause the suspension to set itself to low and bring up a warning? Any advice or opinions much appreciated.

The ball joint shouldn't effect the eas, if you could diagnostic gear onto it, there should be a soft fault code stored.
Batteries are a big thing on these later buses. Voltage lower than normal can cause gremlins and false entities.

Hi, ok this rings a bell. I had the doors open for ages the other day while cleaning it and the radio shut down with a low power message on the screen. I'm waiting for a new charger to arrive.
