Hi
Also a D3 with the TDV6 2.7 engine
Plse make sure the belts and oil pump cover have been done
Yes ... sound advice ... I have just done the cam belts so will have to look at the rest. thanks
Oh My.... I did not do it myself, got a Rover specialist to do it for me £700 + vat !!! I am not confident enough yet to fiddle (I have a lot to learn) ....Ur very welcome
Indeed , Always best to check the oil pump cover is the updated one, how did u get on with the rear belt , know they are tight for access and working blind

Good idea to have the EGR valves mapped out.Lol, that’s a good price
Indeed as @Datatek said certainly not an engine to learn how to do the timing belts , lol
Is just a very complicated model, code ready is a must for these, but like everything over time as u work on them experience and knowledge increases
May i ask is this ur first landy plse
Have u done ur egrs yet, mine were rather on the dirty side and always a good idea to remove and clean ur MAP sensor as they block up

That's interesting.Hi
Didn’t need the EGR software patch to prevent the MIL light coming on

This is my first Range but I still have a 2004 Freelander as well .... am no mechanic but like I said I am willing to learn so if there are any "beginners" things that I could do or check to start me off that would be good.
