Pi $$ taking is par for the course on this forum, you left yourself wide open. You answered your own question, you tried the wrong camera and it didn't work, have you tried the right one.;)
no haven’t tried an NTSC camera i asked a valid question cant see why a British built car would have an American system NTSC camera as for trying wrong camera trying to eliminate if it is wiring fault or camera fault if you don’t know what system is used don’t reply to thread

It’s been covered on here with a cheap 1 from flea bay think it’s deep in an unrelated thread thou. He did give a link for the camera and fitting.

We fought for free speech, remember April 25th ? ANZAC day. The same British car uses parts from all over the world, I see you are new to this forum,I can only suggest you read some past pages to understand how the members on this forum not only give advice but also lighthearted banter. If you want a more anally retentive forum then I'm sure somebody will post you a link.

Maybe NSTC is used because the USA is a major market for JLR.

My rear camera is rubbish keeps fogging up and is fuzzy and even worse in low light. So I have ordered one of these. The youtube video looks pretty simple.

word of advice... gently tap the camera housing glass out, the OEM has a foam seal that doesn't reseat well and you'll be forever getting moisture in it taking it off drying it out, refitting and doing the same next time it rains.

with the replacement bullet cam, its sealed, unlike the OEM so just tap the plastic glass out and give the lens a wipe every week or so when it collects dirt. and if you are anal like me. keep the glass in an envelope in the handbook pack.

All JLR are NTSC. Maybe the quality is better? On the Jag forum there is an article on changing the sat nav (also NTSC) on older cars to take a rear camera and also to convert to play normal DVDs.

With these self-parking cars it will only get worse. Many years ago I did the srewarding for Lorry Driver of the Year. Absolutely incredible how some of the guys can manoeuvre an arctic.

Once reversed a 42 foot long 8 foot wide artic trailer into the 10 foot or so alley next to Natwest bank at Cleveleys. No reversing cameras were used in the process. :D:D
