2000 KEY FOB NEEDED

I HAVE A 2000 DISCOVERY 2 I AM IN NEED OF A FOB. I WAS TOLD THAT THE DEALERSHIP DISCONTINUED THE KEY. IS THERE ANYONE WITH ADVICE TO GET ANOTHER ONE? I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL AVENUES BUT I KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUND.
 
Used ones do come up on ebay and I think there is a Rover car that used the same one. Someone will come along soon who knows for definite.

thank you so much. I really appreciate all the help I can get. I tried amazon as well but I keep getting the fobs with no programming and need programming.
 
All keys will need reprogramming to your own car.
You might get more help if you put this request in the Discovery section of the forum. This section is only for you to introduce yourself and your car to other members.

Well it is early in the morning. The dog got me up about an hour ago and I am still not on 'full function'', although I doubt I would have said different even if I was awake properly - I only drive these things and leave the mystery of their functioning to them who know.:D
