IT WORKS!!!! taken her out for her first spin! the difference is amazing!! :cheer2: did notice the temp gauge was nearly in the red. ino i need to change the sender but does anyone no if they read high or low when using a disco sender with a def gauge??

sorry i dont quite understand how can you overtighten a clutch plate, by the very nature of how the clutch works the clutch plate isnt in actual fact fixed, discuss

not centred properly perhaps or release bearing not seated correctly?
could well of been. think clutch was aligned properly tho as the engine and gearbox mated up together properly. so the gearbox splines must of gone thru the pressure plate. and the bearing looked to be ok. not sayin its not one of these 2 but seems unlikly.
