The seatbelt bolts do bolt together from top and bottom. The top has a bolt that goes into a plate that is riveted to the tub floor. The bottom has a bolt and a large washer to spread loads through the steel tub support.

I had an email back saying the bolts that go through the floor, support, and chassis, appear to be M8 x 40. So I’m getting somewhere now.
