How many labour hours for a clutch?

I can see a few things going wrong and there goes your hours. Old car mix match engine/gearbox, couple of seized bolts especially floor plate bolts/screws, rounded off prop bolts. With the 77 box the engine might swing forward enough to get the clutch in without rmeoving box or engine. Or it...

    200tdi Defender 90 to auto

200 and early 300 autos were not edc, edc came out on the (I think) 95 N reg models, when bhp went from 111 to 121. Even the edc models still had a kickdown cable, they had a throttle cable from throttle pedal to a throttle potentiometer under the bonnet, then kickdown cable from potentiometer...

    L322 tdv8 3.6 Engine Failure.

You need new glasses, fail to crank, not crank fail.

    200tdi Defender 90 to auto

Not done it, but do keep us updated as it is somehting I would like to do to mine in the future. You can get cv props rather than uj props, and I believe the cv style can operate at greater angles with no vibe issues.

    Seized glow plugs

I found the old pig tail glow plugs to be better for starting than the newer ones.

    Torque settings behind crankshaft

    Oil Radiator Unions confusion

Tbh most 300 owners do not have a clue about anything, otherwise why woud they have bought a 300!

    Oil Radiator Unions confusion

They look standard to me. Iirc 200tdi seals on a taper and later 300 ones use an o ring. So where the male/male union screws into the rad it might benefit from some thread sealant. Note td and 200tdi seem to use exact same set up, apart from all the separate updates depending on vin.

    Series 2 Series 2A or Series 3?

Looks like a s3, but you will need better quality close up pics to confirm. Bulkhead screen mounts and interior suggest s3. What country is the car in?

    Disco 3 (LR3) battery issue

If you google battery voltage chart you will se that 11.7 is pretty much shagged. Lots of people think a 12 volt battery is 12 volt, when in fact it is 12.6v when in good health (something you will never see on a d3!) batteries typically have 6 cells at 2.1volts per cell x 6 gets you the 12.6...

    19J DPS injector pump help!!!!!!!!!!

Iirc remember correctly the throttle will be in the idle position and any link rods inside go in the holes that relate to the code not the model but the actual code for that inj pump.

    Disco 3 (LR3) battery issue

How old is the battery? If only doing short commute you'll be lucky to get two or three years out of a battery. I assume you have checked it is charging?

How easy is it to change both the Valve seals and Piston Rings

If you are doing piston rings you are going to be doing the head gasket anyway. I assume you have a smoke problem?

Disc 3 2007 TDV6 Engine rattle (tinkling type of rattle like a small chain rattling)

There are two timing chains in the v6, drivers side one is at the rear of the cylinder head, and passenger side one is at the front of the cylinder head. When the snap they cause quite a bit of damage, so it might be a good idea to stop using the car until you can get it seen to. It is quite...

    Disco 5 td6 2020 paranoid

I would say you can count on the fingers of one maybe two hands people on her who own a d5. Check out the d3forum as they have a dedicated d4 and d5 section, good forum plenty of regular posts etc, some posters are kind of stuck up their own arse, but you soon get to figure out who they are...

    Fitting a snorkel

On my 200tdi with the snorkel connected there is a small but definate power loss, especially on long hills, on the 200 you can reach in and unclip the hose that runs from the wing to the air filter and the small power loss disappears, so yes they defo cause a restriction to the air flow. Mine...
