How to add an 2 inch lift to a p38?

Whhels are 33" - lift is 2" Body lift. I'm not sure there is anything really left of the original bump stops.

How to add an 2 inch lift to a p38?

I thought the same thing as I was writing my post...I'm wondering how?

How to add an 2 inch lift to a p38?

Mine has differing behaviours - some faults it goes into extended ride height. And on the way back from Wales it was telling me it was at extended ride height - but air had gradually left the system and I suddenly I found myself at 50mph on a dual carriage way with no hard shoulder with the...

How to add an 2 inch lift to a p38?

Last weekend I took her up Scapa Florida, she drove there beautifully. Now the air intake is fixed she positively flew up the hills. No issues at all with running with the bigger wheels. She behaved beautifully off road. She acquitted herself very well against a range of Defenders and Disco’s...

How to add an 2 inch lift to a p38?

AHA! You are all correct - I attributed the big wheels to the real problems I had going up hill - now I have found the real problem! discovered my air filter had collapsed in on itself - so when the engine was screaming for air - it wasn't;t getting it - which collapsed the air intake plastic...

    P38 no crank

Thank you so much for this post. I have just experienced a remarkably similar symptom, and thought I had fried my ECU. I was just about to post a cry for help when I read your post. I was planning a green laning trip round Wales this weekend - and was dreading trying to get this fixed tomorrow...

    L322 Heater

Check with the proper experts on this forum, but the hedgehog has been a source of heater misery for me, and its replacement with a new one the source of joyful warmth. If yours is getting on a bit maybe replace it while your down there….

    L322 L322 '03; Completely new to Landy's, so a couple of questions

Hi Anders. Welcome to Landyzone and to the RR world. Ive got a 2011 4.4 L322, which is similar to yours but not the same. I don’t have an ignition key, only a start button. Wheel nuts I think are 22mm - but I’m going from memory. Good luck with your bonnet cable, I read your thread on that.

How to add an 2 inch lift to a p38?

Hi Mark. Well, now you ask. I have been driving for a year or two now. And almost everything everyone said is true. Even when they were mutually exclusive. I did a 2” body lift. So it rides much higher, much less stable on the road. Extended lift sensor arms, and spacers under the shocks was...

    P38A Opinions on a P38 Diesel Requested

I’ve had mine for 5 years or more. Engine seems good. it’s sluggish but solid. Oil over heating could be it needs an oil top up. Also, the cooler rad tends to get clogged up. Give it a good clean and check the fan works, if it has not got one, then i’d fit one.

    L322 19" over brembo calipers

I tried to reduce my 20's so I could fit bigger tyres for green laning - and could not get the new wheels over the callipers. But I'm not sure if I tried 19" or 18'. There is not much clearance on those callipers.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I actually did it in spring bit only just got round to posting. It has been bang on perfect ever since. I'm really pleased with it. However, the link you gave me earlier to a thread about off-road equipment landed on a years old discussion about removing the viscous fan because it disintegrates...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

More modifications for me. New 30% bigger all aluminium radiator. New after market electric fan controlled by switch on the dash. New Flux Capacitor! - Makes it go better. I had been using Keith's air con fan mod after removing the viscous fan - but it was not quite up to the job on more taxing...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Whoa - @Grrrrrr - you just said something really interesting back there; "Does the spare fit in the wheel well or do you have it in the back? Or did you source one of Flo's rear carriers off his old Range Rover Evolution company?" Please tell me more - my spare no longer fits in the wheel well...

L322 Why is there a budgerigar in my dashboard?

Yeah, but i think that was an evoque. This is the guy doing it for an l322. Which is still a bit more surgery than i would like.

L322 Why is there a budgerigar in my dashboard?

Turns out Budgies in your blower is expensive. Checked for loose leaves, lubricated the budgie as well as can, still chirruping though. Diagnosed as requiring new blower motor, or bearings. Apparently this involves removing the front of the car. Bumper off, body work off, front seats out and...
