What did you do with your Range Rover today

I measured the wheel centre to the arch then jacked the hub up to the same height. simples.

Don't forget the suspension needs to be at normal height before you tighten them up. :)

I downloaded a copy of RAVE a good few years ago but I can't remember where from.

TD5 Oil lamp and rattle neither can be turned off !

I didn't jack anything up. The biggest PITA was removing the timing chain off the bottom sprocket.

TD5 Oil lamp and rattle neither can be turned off !

Best to take the sump off and have a look. I was lucky when mine let go but it was still 2 days of work to fix it. Some info here https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/oil-warning-light-and-poor-braking.314518/ Are you good at spannering? Are you going to do it yourself?

    L322 L322 Battery strangeness

Although a low volt battery can generally start the car it may be too low to power some of the ECUs stopping them booting correctly. What battery did Halfrauds sell you? They originally sold me a 900A as per the book and it was fine when used daily but struggled if the car wasn't used for a...

    Diesel or PHEV

The older Outlander switches to ICE if you switch too many things on or go too fast but the later 2.4 engine version can run full electric at higher speeds.

    L322 Airbag light on...

Mine used to do that regularly and diagnostics always said battery disconnect module. Cleaning the rusty nut seemed to clear it.

    Diesel or PHEV

The only thing that puts me off is the cost of replacing the batteries. A plug in hybrid would be ideal for my 16 mile commute as we have plenty of charging bays available at work and reduced car park charges but the thought of the cost and if they will even be available in say 5 years time is a...

    Diesel or PHEV

I saw a video of a recovered burned out EV that had to be followed by a fire engine until it was dunked in the water tank.

    Diesel or PHEV

With all the EVs around I'm sure it will become a thing.

    Diesel or PHEV

Do they not immerse EV's in a water tank to stop them reigniting?

    Diesel or PHEV

At least the water will put the fire out :)

    Diesel or PHEV

I wouldn't even consider an older PHEV that is likely to need a new battery soon due to the cost of a replacement. Mind you I wouldn't condsider electric at all unless it was free for the same reason :)
