Hi all,

Just a quick one;
Is my 90 Epsom Green?

About to get a couple of aerosol tins to spray my new rear door and just need to make sure I get the right colour.
Also to spray my door; how many tins will I need?
Halfords sell 300ml Epsom green tins for £6.29:

Thanks Lazydog.
Have just checked my vin number. Do I need a certain bit of my vin number?
Not really sure what I'm looking for.

Have just done a google image search on "epsom green" and it does look pretty much identical to mine.

Sorry was being a turd; was looking at the vin number plate behind the windscreen. Just found another one under the bonnet;)
Under paint it says: part No BTR 0171; which I cannot find on that website.

In regards to the Halfords paints, you will need loads. I have recently carried out some spraying with their tins and found I needed 2 to finish an ammo box.

I also did an identical box in a different color (for color comparison) custom mixed by another motor store and only needed one tin, plus the paint quality was much better, mind you it did cost me £15! The problem I found with the Halfords tin was the density of the pearl / metallic specs and the way they landed. The paint also seemed very watered down, so more coats / tins required. The result turned out OK but not sure what it would look like next to another panel. You may have better results but this is what I found.

This guy had a similar problem 3 years ago! Looks like a phone call to the dealers :alien:
