The old thread has got a little bit long winded now so here goes.
On saturday 29th November the S*L*U*T*S will be running a trip to salisbury plain. It is for people who have never taken their vehicle 'off road' before. This could be because they have nobody to go with or do not wish to damage their vehicle or just that they have felt intimidated by others. This trip is designed to be a DAMAGE FREE introduction to green laning. Although we cannot absolutely guarantee that this is the case we will do our best to keep both you and your vehicle safe.
IF YOU ARE AFTER DEEP MUD AND WATER, STEEP HILLS, OR EXTREME CONDITIONS THEN THIS TRIP IS NOT FOR YOU. THIS IS A GENTLE DAYS LANING SUITABLE FOR STANDARD VEHICLES.
As numbers are restricted there are some qualifying factors:
1) This is only open to existing members of this forum.
2) This is only for Landrovers (yes freelanders are included
)
3) Newbies will take priority over experienced people.
4) You understand that the green lanes we are driving are public highways and as such vehicles and drivers must be road legal.
5) Places are limited and so it's on a first come first served basis.
6) Please put your name down on THIS thread. We will put a list on here with all those that are coming and will regularly update it. Until WE add you to this list you are not officially coming. This is not to be difficult but so we can ensure that we have enough support vehicles at hand and that we don't overbook.
The start point and time are yet to be confirmed. The end point is going to be near Amesbury.
Although this trip is primarily for newbies if you are interested in coming then please pm either myself, Robint, DorsetvogueSE or BoomerV8 and we may be able to use you in the support teams.
