It's not that bad really, you do need a helper to keep the fluid topped up and to work the pedal. The bleed nipple on the master nearest the bulkhead is semi buried in the insulation and a bit awkward to get at but popping the header tank out of...
Interesting twist gentlemen - yesterday went to Walmart to check the battery (battery is less than 2 y/o). Check showed that it was doing 600 CCA from 900. It was replaced under warranty (3 years) with identical one and I paid out of pocket $6...
Here I go off topic... again! I want to flush my brake fluid, do I need to go through the pain of bleeding the abs pump and the little dance routine needed or just bleed the brakes like any other vehicle. I am not removing any lines or caliper...
Can you test the glow plugs with Nanocom? My P38 takes about 15 secs of cranking when cold to start, I do double cycle the glow plugs, starts instantly when warm/hot?
So I’m still trying to get my TD4 to start (cranking only, see other recent thread with data)…
Question; would a duff cam shaft sensor allow crank but prevent ignition completely? (Tries to fire on easy start but will not run at all).

As mentioned you probably need to change all the bushes and shocks anyway, not expensive if you do it yourself.
Plus one on modulation before you do anything else, I lowered the idle on my P38 when I had it from memory it's just a case of lowering the number in the idle speed box.
One of the first things I did when I bought my TD5 90 was fit a centre silencer delete pipe, Ebay bargain, £1 if I remember correctly.
Really made next to no difference to sound levels.
Today I spent half a day making up a silencer delete rear...
You’ll always get away with it but the bottom steel one with the ridge will let all the crud past it fowling the injector head. They should be replaced as a set. The hardest part is making sure the old steel one is out of the hole and you don’t...
Personally I would check what your timing modulation is first. If its out I'd do that first.
@Datatek has an easy and simple way if you've got the use of a nanocom
Exhaust manifold gasket changed, some loose studs, but upon reassembly not fix. Glad I did it though as cleaned the intake manifold, and torqued everything up properly. Whilst at it cleaned up the starter motor connections.
So, then removed...
