Why would you want them to come on with the ignition,??? wire them into the side lights but run a separate wire to a switch
if you want them on. Are these the ones that light up white or amber (depends which wire you choose)
So if I have no sensors connected I have 5.35v on left and right if I put sensor back on right I get voltage of 5.30v ish but if I connect left sensor the voltage just drops to 0.6-0.8 volts even with the sensor form the right that works I thinks...
Since we've arrived I have removed 3 ticks from our hanimals and seen 3 or 4 lying on the floor. The worrying one was the one with an "I'm full" sign on his chops.
We are off to see the vet soon to arrange for the one with whom we had all the...
Will replace the O rings - just heard the Pscan should be here for weekend, so may help understand more then.
Any idea on the long-reach socket size for the rail sensor (battery end)? Connection looks fine, but may well replace the sensor… when...
You can still wander round the the two I know of. I think they just prefer an easy life and just crush what the punters don't pick off. Turnaround time is only about two weeks now, so you have to be lucky to find the car you need.
:)
Apparently when I was born in 1955 my father, a part trained accountant earned £8 a week and my mother a fully qualified doctor, was on £16 a week.
My first full time job in 1972 I earned £10 a week before stoppages for NI. So ten years after...
You should be able to take an auxiliary ignition feed direct from the back of the ignition switch.
Although I would not bother as personally dislike halo lights and think they are little tacky.
Lad in the yards birthday today & his GF got a massive banner made up with pics of him when he was a wee lad haha
Him wearing a bra for a laugh ect 🤣🤣
I had made plans with her to meet up & put it on the fence on the way into the yard, she phoned...
So I swap the sensor form the other side and made no difference still the same fault so I fitted the two sensors straight to the slabs and still the same fault even if I swap sensors does this mean the slabbs it’s done for ??
Another thought. Check the wire from BECM C112 Pin-5 to GEMS C507 Pin-26 is not cut or shorted out. It should be a GB wire, i.e. green wire with black stripe.
I gave him a spare regulator and it fixed
Same problem as you parked up would not start next day he’s tried cam crank sensor
Then it was suggested about the regulator I had a spare and it’s now running 100%
The rear wiper will just be finishing off it's sweep. There's a sensor and a magnet so it knows it's not parked. The motor armature sits in a bush rather than a bearing and can get a bit rusty and start to sieze and draw too much current. Mine...
I did say when doing the Security Learn on GEMS, to switch off for 30 seconds, but 10-20 is probably enough.
A couple of other ideas:
Option 1) After setting GEMS to learn mode, exit the Nanocom menus. Then switch ignition off & lock the car...
I read 3 times what you wrote and it still makes not much sense to me... keep it simple if you can't be clear, did you swap the two sensors between them as i suggested and got the same fault code or the code went to the other side? that's...
Same problem on one this week second hand regulator fixed it 👌
Try easy start if like the other one this week it starts and runs but knock it off and no start it’s probably the regulator
Well I’ve ordered an O ring kit, just in case. I’ve cleaned the rail sensor (was clean anyway), though of course it could have ‘failed’ electrically.
I’m hoping the Pscan offers me a lead…
I was thinking about the point where I had to turn the power off and on again. It takes some time for messages to appear in the message center. Is there a time limit for switching off and on...I also tried to act quickly regardless of the...
